A cool-sounding subtitle goes here.
COmmunity Event

Shannon was raised in a south-western suburb of Chicago in a non-Christian home. Finding herself in a family where members were struggling with with alcoholism and other addictions, she was riddled with anxiety and struggling with self-worth. She knew there had to be something more to life than the way it was going. One evening, her older brother took Shannon to church, and it was there that she met Jesus in the basement of a church youth group. Since then, Shannon holds fast that the God who can rescue you from the muddy pit is the same God who can uproot what feels like your most unchangeable darkest sin and transform your life — turning a 180 to live anew in Christ.

Shannon is passionate about fostering a God-honoring culture and creating pathways for people to be known, not just connected. After attending a Sunday Celebration service just 4 years ago, she knew: God is doing something different in the lives of the 180 family.

Shannon serves as 180 Chicago's Director of Engagement and Innovation, equipping our Downtown and Northwest campuses with tools and resources to effectively disciple the 180 community. Her desire it to equip the 180 family to serve as champions for Christ in their unique callings and giftings, by building initiatives that serve our members and attendees to get plugged in, and by collaborating with the leadership team on creative opportunities to reach the greater Chicagoland for Jesus.
