Isaac Iverson is from the middle of nowhere, among the cornfields and suburbs of the Midwest. Raised in a Christian home by two amazing parents, he accepted Christ as soon as he was old enough to understand the Gospel.
That passion for the Gospel followed him throughout high school, inspiring him to serve in many church volunteer positions and on a handful of overseas mission trips.
In an effort to pursue and better understand scripture, he began his college career at New Tribes Bible Institute (now Ethnos360) in 2015. He learned everything he could about scripture while there and subsequently graduated with an Associates in Biblical Studies in 2017. That next school year, he served as a media intern in NTBI’s Mobilization Department.
In 2018, he transferred to Moody Bible Institute to pursue a degree in Communications, where he discovered ministry media as his calling in life. In the spring of 2021, he graduated with that degree.
Creativity and hospitality are two values that Isaac holds dear. From a young age, he’s played various musical instruments and finds joy in discovering new mediums of expression. His hobbies include video game development, 3D design, and photography. Blessed with the spiritual gift of hospitality, he is passionate about helping people feel welcome and content.
Isaac joined 180 Chicago in early 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic to help elevate 180’s media, experiencing great joy in doing so. His mission in life is to wield his God-given creativity and hospitality to bless the body and expand the Kingdom.
Isaac is married to Mikayla. They enjoy exploring Chicago, hosting hangouts with friends, and creating music together.
