Caleb was born and raised in Chicago. He grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 8, after having a time of prayer with his family at their home..
From then on, Caleb has grown and pursued a relationship with Christ in deeper ways. He had always assumed his relationship was strong with Christ because of the people he surrounded himself with. When Caleb was 20 years old, he moved to Georgia to become a police officer. Through various trials, Caleb came across a church plant and found himself leading worship at the church. Knowing that God was calling him into a worship leader role, Caleb believed that he hadn’t found that place where God was calling him. Through counsel and prayer, Caleb and his wife felt called back to Chicago after two years to pursue ministry but were unsure how. After two years of prayer and seeking the Lord's counsel, they found 180 Chicago and haven’t felt more at home.
Caleb has extensive experience leading worship in church plants both in Chicago and Georgia. Caleb's passion, commitment, and heart for the Lord are contagious, and his desire to help people grow as disciples of Jesus fits our mission at 180 to a tee. Caleb is also an excellent vocalist and guitarist and brings significant technical expertise to our worship experience.
Caleb is married to Kayla (2017), and they currently reside in Chicago. They have a son named Elijah and a dog named Zeus. As a family, they love the outdoors and spending time with people whenever they get a chance.
